About me

I’m a compassionate and dedicated therapist who works through a deeply relational lens, drawing from trauma-informed care, Narrative Therapy, DBT, Attachment Theory, the Gottman Method, mindfulness practices, play-informed approaches, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic-informed work. I integrate these modalities gently and intentionally, depending on what each client needs in the moment.

I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Early Childhood Education from Concordia University of Edmonton. I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists.

At the core of my work is a belief that therapy is a collaborative and human process. I’m committed to building strong therapeutic relationships grounded in trust, compassion, and mutual respect. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, seen, and supported, while also acknowledging the systems, identities, and lived experiences that shape their world. My practice is firmly rooted in diversity-affirming, anti-oppressive, and authentic care.

My approach centers on helping clients explore their distress with curiosity, cultivate resilience, and build supportive plans that encourage autonomy and lifelong well-being. I hold deep faith in each person’s capacity for healing and growth. Together, we explore how their life experiences, stories, and inner worlds can be integrated into a life that feels more aligned, empowered, and meaningful.

Ultimately, my hope is to offer a space where people can show up as they are, connect with what matters most to them, and move toward the changes they want to create. I’m passionate about walking alongside clients as they navigate their journeys, supporting them in building insight, strengthening self-trust, and feeling more at home in themselves.

Outside of work I am a mother to two wild & strong willed kiddos, I am definitely the fun aunty, & I coach multiple sports & competed as a teen. I love to spending my time outdoors exploring & making memories with my family & pup.

My practice is rooted in relational and culturally responsive care model, integrating evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches, including:

  • Narrative Therapy –Supporting clients in exploring the stories they’ve carried and gently reshaping them into narratives that honor their resilience, identity, and agency. This approach helps people separate themselves from their problems and reconnect with their strengths.

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) – Blending acceptance and change strategies to build emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and healthy communication. Clients learn practical, skills-based tools that increase stability, presence, and self-compassion.

  • Attachment Theory – Exploring early relational patterns and how they shape current relationships, self-worth, and emotional responses. This approach helps clients cultivate secure connections, within themselves and with others, through understanding, repair, and attunement.

  • Gottman Method – Offering evidence-based strategies to strengthen relational bonds, improve communication, and increase emotional safety. Couples learn to understand each other’s inner worlds, reduce conflict patterns, and build shared meaning.

  • Play Therapy-Informed Approaches – Utilizing play as a natural language for children to express emotions, process experiences, and build coping skills. Through developmentally attuned, creative interventions, children gain tools for emotional regulation and personal growth.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)–Informed Practice – Guiding clients to gently explore their internal parts with curiosity and compassion. This approach helps people access their core Self, foster inner safety, and create meaningful shifts in long-standing emotional patterns.

  • Somatic-Informed Approaches – Incorporating body-based practices that support nervous system regulation and deepen emotional processing. Clients learn to recognize how their bodies hold stress, trauma, and resilience, creating pathways for grounded presence and improved well-being.

  • Mindfulness Practices –Encouraging clients to slow down, notice their inner experience, and return to the present moment. These practices support stress reduction, nervous system balance, and a deeper sense of grounding and clarity.

I’m committed to offering a grounded, collaborative space where clients can move at their own pace, honor their autonomy, and feel safe enough to explore their challenges and create meaningful shifts.
